The Wildflower Events

Barbara started her career in the hospitality industry in British Columbia, Canada. She began planning and assisting with events, parties, and conventions with several resorts, hotels and destination management companies on Vancouver Island in 1998. Her last location on the island was with the award winning Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort & Spa on the Inner Harbour of beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. Her positions during her four year stay at the resort included Concierge, Conference Services Coordinator and Sales Coordinator.

In 2005, Barbara moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with her family. She joined the management team at the Hayden Lake Golf and Country Club in Idaho as their Wedding and Event Manager where she organized golf events, meetings, social events and several weddings each summer for their 500+ members.

Barbara has coordinated events for groups from 10-400 guests including conferences for the BC Ferry Corporation, the BC Tourism Ministers Reunion, Boehringer Ingelheim, Sanofi-Aventis, Pfizer, Crime Stoppers International, the Canadian Institute for Health Symposium, BC Recreation and Parks Association, Northwest Ford Dealers Golf Tournament, as well as some entertaining events such as the Annual Grand Marnier Dessert Challenge, Hospice of North Idaho Annual Auction and Dinner, the EXCEL Foundation Annual Fundraiser and the University of Idaho’s Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival.

With her extensive background in front of the house and back of the house positions and her broad network of professional event suppliers, Barbara has the skills and experience to bring together every detail for your next exceptional event!
